I’m Hayley, welcome to my blog.
I’ve been vegan since 2008 and began blogging about food just a year afterwards. In 2014, I had the opportunity to spend an entire summer working via Workaway throughout Ireland and Scotland for various hostels, bed & breakfasts, and even a wild food forager. Since then, I’ve been bitten by the traveling bug and have (so far) visited five countries and territories, with many many more on my to-do list.
Gallivanting Vegan is an outpouring of all my loves. Here you can find everything from plant-based recipes to international restaurant guides and me waxing poetic about fermentation.
I’m based in the northeast of America with my omnivore husband, Peter, and our two cats. When I’m not writing about food or planning a grand adventure, you can usually find me playing Dungeons & Dragons, daydreaming about my next tattoo, or sweating it out in hot yoga.
